Competition Shortlist Annoucement
The Literary Consultancy and The Literateur are delighted to announce the competition shortlist.
There were over 150 entries in all and we were overwhelmed by the high calibre of many of the poems and short stories that we received. It was a very tough choice but we congratulate the following people for making it to the shortlist:

These works will be published here soon. They, along with the judges, will be giving readings at the Competition Party held on 11th November at the Free Word Centre. Entry is free and everyone is invited. See below for details:
There will be readings by the judges Rebecca Abrams (award-winning journalist and author ofTouching Distance), Sarah Hesketh (critically acclaimed poet, Napoleon’s Travelling Bookshelf) and Rebecca Swift (director of TLC, poet with Virago and Vintage, editor and biographer) as well as the shortlisted competition entrants.
